Marko is a talented saxophonist and multi-instrumentalist based in London, known for his exceptional jazz performances.

Raised in a musical household, Marko was exposed to a wide range of music, from John Coltrane to Alexander Borodin.

He began playing saxophone at 12, but it was at 17, after discovering the music of Joe Henderson, that his passion for jazz truly ignited.

At 18, Marko joined the house band for the Weekly Jazz nights at the University of York, later becoming second tenor in John Warren’s Jazz Orchestra in 2018. He quickly became a prominent figure in the York jazz scene, performing with bands like Alfa Mist, Neon and the Deons, and the New York Brass Band.

Currently, Marko leads two jazz ensembles: an alternative jazz group that regularly performs in Brighton and London, and quartet specialising in event performances. He also tours Europe with the Neue Grafik Ensemble and collaborates with various artists such as Zami Yazeed, Benjamin Luhis, Asaph Kolokale, Twanda Champs, and Buffos Wake.
