Countdown Swing Orchestra is a vintage orchestra that performs faithful transcriptions of some of the greatest hits of the Swing Era.

With the Orchestra being described by prestigious industry magazine DownBeat as ‘a sonic ride back to the sounds of Capitol Studios in the 1950s,’ expect a musical repertoire of Frank Sinatra, Billie Holiday, Nat ‘King’ Cole, Ella Fitzgerald and many more.

Not just limited to Swing Era classics, the Orchestra can adapt to perform hits from soul and Motown legends including Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye – perfect for a great party! Countdown Swing Orchestra also breathes new life into jazz standards.

Every song is performed with love and respect for the original artists, and the collective friendship of the musicians on stage rubs off on audiences who return to see the Orchestra over and over again.
