Born into a highly esteemed family of musicians, Mehboob is the grandson of a legendary sitarist.

Introduced to music from a very young age, he began his sitar training under the guidance of his uncle and is now studying with the world-renowned sitar maestro, Pandit Arvind Parikh.

A widely respected sitar player, Mehboob is recognised as one of the most accomplished musicians of the present generation from the Vilayatkhani Gharana. He is known as one of the finest sitar players in the UK.

His performances are truly unique and inspiring, captivating audiences both in India and internationally. Mehboob is regularly invited to perform across India, Africa, Europe, and the UK, leaving a lasting impression wherever he plays.
